🏒 Total Dedication! ‘Heated Rivalry’ Creator Reveals Connor Storrie & Hudson Williams Almost Filmed Full-Frontal Scenes
“It’s still storytelling.” Jacob Tierney reflects on navigating steamy intimacy, actor trust, and choreography on set.
Fans of the hit series ‘Heated Rivalry’ received an exciting look behind the scenes when creator, writer, and director Jacob Tierney revealed that lead actors Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie were fully prepared to film full-frontal nude scenes for the show’s intense intimacy sequences.
Speaking at a special promotional event in Brooklyn for his new book, Tierney shared that while both actors were completely committed to the realism of their roles as Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov, he ultimately chose to limit explicit visibility on screen.
“The boys were both very game. They understood from the beginning,” Tierney recalled, sharing how he assured the cast of a safe, highly respectful filming environment. “I was like, ‘I’m not showing your dicks!'”
Tierney explained how he worked closely with intimacy coordinators to treat sex scenes like carefully choreographed dances. By setting specific movements in advance, the actors could feel completely secure and focus entirely on emotional connection rather than technical logistics.
“To me, it’s still storytelling,” Tierney emphasized. “Where are you at? What are you getting out of this? You’re sad, you’re trying to make him feel better. That is much more important to me than making sure one specific thing happens.”
The immense dedication from both the creator and cast continues to show why the series resonates so deeply with queer entertainment audiences worldwide!
